Program Objectives

The Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) program is designed to provide clinicians and clinical-scientists with advanced training in the methods and conduct of clinical research. In addition to covering the basic concepts in epidemiology, biostatistics, study design and research ethics, the GCSRT program provides rigorous training in developing grant proposals, writing manuscripts and leading highly performing research teams. The program also taps into a global network of like-minded colleagues fostering information exchange, and an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with clinicians across the globe.

At the completion of this program, scholars will be able to:
  • Perform both observational and experimental clinical research using the methods introduced in this program
  • Plan and implement one or more clinical research projects
  • Analyze, interpret, and present clinical research data
