New Course: "Research Study Design"

The framework and techniques adopted by a researcher enables the researcher take up a research methods that are appropriate for the subject matter and this set up studies up for success. A well-arranged research design usually creates a minimum bias in data and increases trust in the accuracy of collected data. This new course provides learners with an introduction to research study design, a detailed overview of scientific inquiry, examples of various research designs, a discussion of data management methods, an introduction to statistical analysis, and sound approaches to optimize the reproducibility of research results. Suggested Audiences: IRB Members and Administrators, Undergraduate and Graduate Students and Research Staff.
