This 1.5 day Research Training Session will include the following:

(1) Presentation on the MADCaP consortium

(2) Train on proper patient communication and administration/logistics

(3) Train on laboratory practices/technical skills

blood draw à sample processing à DNA extraction à protocol to ship to South Africa


Audience: pathologist, pain specialist, clinician, urologist, nurses, geneticists, epidemiologists, and administrative coordinators

Training Leaders

Dr. Timothy Rebbeck, Ph.D., Vincent L. Gregory, Jr. Professor of Cancer Prevention at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health & Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Expertise in prostate cancer epidemiology and prevention.


Prof. Isadore Diomande, Head of Anatomic Pathology at CHU Cocody and  Vice President of the Ivorian Society of Pathology (SIPath). Expertise is digestive pathology and breast cancer diagnosis.


Dr. N’Da Marcelin Homian, Head of Chemotherapy Unit at CHU Treichville. Expertise in cancer patient treatment and breast immunology.
