Advancing Healthcare Innovation in Africa-Training initiative

AHIA CONFERENCE TO ADVANCE HEALTH INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGIES IN AFRICA - APPLICATION DEADLINE APRIL 15, 2019


Emory University, a leading research and healthcare-focused University in the United States, is recruiting innovative scientists focused on developing healthcare solutions to attend their fourth annual Advancing Healthcare Innovation in Africa (AHIA) conference, and subsequent commercialization program. The 3-day conference will take place July 10-12, 2019 in JohannesburgSouth Africa and AHIA will cover the flight and hotel expenses for workshop attendees.  At the end of the conference, select scientists will receive ongoing advice from Emory University professors, seasoned industry professionals, entrepreneurs who have sold multiple businesses, and world-class researchers to help transition their innovations from laboratory to market.The conference will cover topics such as business development, intellectual property, seeking funding, investor outreach, and business plan creation.
