Updated DAAC Proposals
Overview
U01 Data Summary
The U01 Data Access Approvals Committee (DAAC) consists of MADCaP principal investigators who have contributed, or facilitated the contribution of, data and/or biospecimens to the network. Members are nominated from within MADCaP to ensure diverse expertise and representation across contributing institutions.
The committee reviews applications from investigators seeking to use MADCaP data for research analyses, papers, grants, and project proposals. Proposals are submitted through the MADCaP Project and Paper Concept Proposal Form and distributed by DFCI MADCaP staff for review. Committee members assess submissions, identify overlapping research interests, and consider opportunities for collaboration or project merges.
Investigators must specify the datasets requested, their intended use, and how original contributors will be credited according to MADCaP authorship guidelines. Project leads must also identify their writing teams and provide an author list and author inclusion statement at submission. Approved data requests are released under an agreement outlining the terms of use.
